So, as I sit here starting to read over the Andrew Loomis figure drawing book I was given, I came across quite a few words of wisdom that stuck with me quite well. I guess you can't always just skip over the foreword, this time it would have been a lesson I would have missed. I'm quite glad I took a few moments out of my time to read over what this particular artist had to say.
"Individuality of expression is, without question, an artist's most valuable asset. You could make no more fatal error than to attempt to duplicate, for the sake of duplication alone, either my work or that of any other individual." - Andrew Loomis
I say think on this, what does it say to you? Does it make any sense at all? I hope it does, because it does to me.
Anyways, yes yes. I'm bound to improve myself once more, I have to, it gnaws at me relentlessly when I feel like I'm not moving forward and learning. It's a crutch in both good and bad. It does represent my own unease, my own dislike for my art, it hinders me and keeps me from going places. At the same time, it is exactly what allows me to stay on my feet and keep walking as I strive to make another step forward in my understanding of art. Ah, the double edged sword, painful sometimes.
With that thought left in the air I will share a few more artists from my watch list with you, hope you enjoy them as well as I do. Wish me luck on my improvement, and remember, your two cents do help me!

Met him by rolling threw the new devs one day, just looking around, he really get more attention than he does!

Defiantly has her own style and seems to improve every time I turn around. She has a very nice comic as well.

I think I met her through the site called Fuzz Academy, it's a nice place and she is a very nice person.

A person from iScribble, again with her own comic, and her characters are wonderfully unique.
